At Logtrail, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.

1. Data We Collect

  • Account Information: Name, email, and billing details provided during signup.
  • Log Data: Technical logs ingested via our API/SDKs.
  • Usage Metadata: Information about how you interact with our dashboard and API for performance monitoring.

2. How We Use Data

  • To provide and maintain the Logtrail service.
  • To notify you about changes to your account or plan limits.
  • To detect and prevent technical issues or security breaches.

3. Data Retention and Deletion

  • Log data is retained according to your plan’s retention period (e.g., 30 days).
  • Once retention expires, data is permanently deleted from our active storage.
  • Upon account termination, all associated data is purged within 30 days.

4. Security

We use industry-standard encryption (AES-256 at rest, TLS in transit) to protect your data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
